'Love Hacked' and Why I Love It!

Hello! I am pretty sure that from this very sentence I will ramble whatever comes to my mind, so consider yourself warned.

I am Win and I am a reader trying to write about the books I have read. I believe I will write what has come to my mind about the book without any refinement as I am not a very graceful person. I am an absolute beginner and have ditched attempting to open the sites which read 'How to be a Book Blogger'. You might be wondering if that's because I have an idea about where this blog is going or I feel that I am too smart to read someone's articles. The thing is I am too impatient. I have been pretty impromptu whenever I start working on a new idea. I believe that this must have given you enough insight into my character already so let's proceed to the book.

Hey there!

Fun Fact (according to me, obviously): The author's name is Penny 'Reid'. No, that's not the fun fact, this is. She was a biomedical researcher, is a knitter, crocheter, sewer, crafter and always a ninja.

The reason I am starting with 'Love Hacked' is because it is one of those books which fall in these categories for me: Re-read, Fresh & Check other books of this author approved.

Who Might Give This Book A Shot:

People who like Romantic Comedies, appreciate Not-So-Common Heroine and Hero, value Fresh Plots, have a thing for Age-Gap romance with a younger hero and cherish a Hero Who Is Not A Total Jerk.

Who Might Like It:

Probably everyone who reads it.

Who Might Not Love It:

If someone doesn't like it, I would think they are a bit testy about the Bitcoin details but let me assure you, my friends, it won't overshadow the plot.

What It Is All About:

Psychiatrist on a 'Date'

Sandra, our beloved heroine with a quirky group of crocheter friends, is a psychiatrist who somehow ends up with her dates turning into a counseling session. Alex, our genius and dark hero who is also a loner, is the waiter at the restaurant where Sandra takes all her 'dates' and yes, he is not who he seems. The attraction between them is sizzling and neither of them can resist. Things are complicated between them as Sandra tries to prod in and struggles to trust Alex for who he is while Alex resists giving all in. Sandra will try to fight against the love of hacking and her own fears. When you read it, you will smile, laugh, and shed a few tears and to me, that is all I want from a book I read. SLS (Smile, Laugh & Shed, not Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) is the standard combination one must search for in any book. I am sorry if I was not very descriptive but I truly don't wish to spoil the fun for you.

The Hacker

Which Is My Favorite Part of It:

The way Alex expresses his emotions for Sandra is just heart-warming and their chemistry gives me butterflies in the belly.

Love Hacked

Which Lessons to Learn/ Not Learn:

  • Butter Chicken is delectable.
  • Always have a quirky and true bunch of friends by your side.

Knitting in the City

  • Don't judge as you might lose the chance of having someone in your life who would have been a blessing.
  • Beware of Stranger-Danger.

What I Rate It:

4.5/5 stars with my full eagerness for you to give it a shot and then chat with me in the comments about it. Be warned, it is un-put-down-able. Also, you can totally give her other books a shot as well.

'Confess' and My Confessions About It!

Hello there! I am back and feeling a lot of things with my emotions all over the place. My heart is a lot fuller than it was when I began reading 'Confess' by Colleen Hoover. I don't know why, but for some reason, I was hesitant about reading books by Colleen Hoover but then I did. This one is the third book I read by her and I can't wait to share all that this book made me feel. Confess Fun Fact  (according to me, obviously): Before we get into the heavy stuff, and trust me when I say that there is a lot of it, let's talk about the fun stuff. Even though many will put this book in the Young Adult/ Contemporary Romance genre, the author totally resists putting a genre to her books. If you put her in a box, she will claw her way out of it. Also, this book has been turned into a TV series but I personally don't think that the depth of emotions that you will feel by reading would be replicated by watching. And no, I am not telling you to not watch it, go ahead as p

'The Rosie Project' and Why It Is Truly Rosy!

Hello, again! I am back with my thoughts on a beautifully written, truly rosy, feel-good novel and convince you to read it as well. The Rosie Project Fun Fact  (according to me, obviously): The main character is a Don ( a high-ranking member of the Mafia ). Not really. His name is Don Tillman and he might not be a Don but surely he can kick someone's butt with his Aikido skills.  Bill Gates (I am pretty sure that I don't need to tell you who he is) recommended this book to at least 50 of his friends. I read it this afternoon and I couldn't resist letting you in the utterly charming, hilarious, and quirky 'Rosie Project'.  Who Might Give This Book A Shot:  People who like   Romantic Comedies, appreciate a Quirky, not 'Conventional' Hero and Heroine, value Fresh Hilarious Plots, want to have a Good Laugh, enjoy Hero POV books and wish to join the 'Bill Gates Book Club' (wink). Who Might Like It: Almost anyone and everyone who will read it.  Who Mig
